Threadless Fork Install
  1. Remove handle bars by loosening the clamp at the bottom of the handle bar riser and either unthread the bars or wiggle them back and forth until the bars are off.
  2. Remove the locking nut and bearing nut from the top of the forks. Be sure to support the forks as they will drop out when the last nut is removed.
  3. Remove the forks. Take note on how your bearings are installed on the bottom of the forks.
  4. Remove your bearing race from your forks and install them on your new Dominator HD Fork.
  5. Install the bearings on your new Dominator HD Fork.
  6. Install the star nut into you handle bar riser tube. Thread the star nut about half way onto the 8” bolt. Turn your handle bars upside down and place the star nut at the opening of your riser tube. Hammer the star nut into the riser tube approximately 3” from the bottom of the riser tube. Make sure to keep the star nut and bolt as straight as possible. Remove the 8” bolt.
  7. Install the new forks into the head tube.
  8. Install handle bars and insert the 8” bolt, with washer, through the bottom of the fork and thread into star nut inserted in the handle bars earlier.
  9. Tighten bolt to eliminate all play in fork while allowing the fork to spin freely.
  10. Align the handle bars and tighten the clamp.
