- Remove handle bars by loosening the clamp at the bottom of the handle bar riser and either unthread the bars or wiggle them back and forth until the bars are off.
- Remove the locking nut and bearing nut from the top of the forks. Be sure to support the forks as they will drop out when the last nut is removed.
- Remove the forks. Take note on how your bearings are installed on the bottom of the forks.
- Install the bearings on your new Dominator Fork.
- Install the new forks into the head tube and thread on the bearing nut and the lock nut.
- Tighten the bearing nut until all play is removed from the fork and the fork spins freely.
- While holding the bearing nut, tighten the lock nut onto the bearing nut.
- Re-install you handle bars and tighten the clamp.
